Easter Cricut Project

Here is my latest Cricut Project. I used the Tags, Bags, Boxes and More Cricut Cartridge to make these Easter themed baskets. I also used the Doodle Charm cartrige to make the bunny.

Instructions:
Cut a nut cup using cardstock and the tags, bags, boxes and more cartridge at 5.5” and using the ‘blackout feature’.

Score, fold and adhere cup closed.

Cut a strip of cardstock for handle and attach to cup using brads.

Cut a bunny from white cardstock using the doodlecharms cartridge set at 1.5”. Cut a bunny nose [shift-bunny] from pink cardstock and glue on white bunny. Cut a bunny "shadow" from a piece of coordinating cardstock and layer bunny to the shadow.

I then drew the whiskers and mouth on and then used pink chalk on the ears and cheeks. Next I attached a paper flower and brad that I had bought onto one of the bunnies ears. Finally for the eyes I glued on a couple of "googly" eyes and then attached the bunny to the basket.

I plan on giving one to each of my coworkers and one to my son's teacher.

Provo Craft cutter/Scorer

Okay I own the fiskars paper trimmer and the Creative Memories one too. So why the provo craft one? Well it not only cuts but it has a scoring blade too! Which comes in very handy when using my Tags, Bags, Boxes and More Cricut Cartridge. I most likely will leave the scoring blade in and use it for scoring only. I could not believe how easy things went together after using the scoring blade. Oh and the up side is it only cost $7.49! There is also one made by Cricut for the same price. But they did not sell those where I was. I am sure it works just as well as the provo craft one since Provo Craft makes the Cricut.

Cuttlebug Card Swap

I joined a card swap on the cricut forum. Here are the ten cards I created. I cannot wait to get back ten more! I used doodlecharms on my cricut for the birthday hat and a stampin up stamp for the "Happy Birthday" Then I used my cuttlebug to emboss the orange paper.

Targert Dollar Spot and Hobby Lobby

Here are my Easter Pails I found at Target in the dollar spot! I LOVE them! At Hobby Lobby I found this chocolate looking bunny on sale half off. I paid $1.50 for it! What a deal!

Embossed and stamped birthday card

I used my cuttlebug to emboss the orange paper and I used a stampin up stamp to stamp happy birthday and a $1 stamp from Michaels to stamp the flower. I love how the colors pop on this card and the simpleness of it all.

My new Bug!

Well I am buggin' out! I bought a new bug! This one is the cuttlebug. It is a diecutter and embosser. I bought it to emboss with. www.creativexpress.com had it on sale for $35 they retail for $89 how can I not get one? Especially since it will compliment my cricut and my card making!
