Day Three of the challenge

Day 2 of the Challenge

This is my second layout for the page a day in January challenge that I am doing. I used the doodlecharms and basecamp cartridge on my cricut.

Lay-Out-A-Day Challenge

A friend of mine (Kristi) told me about this free class being offered online. We both signed up! The goal is to scrapbook a page a day and maybe HOPEFULLY win some prizes for participating! Pictured above is my first entry. Happy New Year!

Layout using my cricut

Here is a layout I did today using my cricut die cut machine. I also used one of Becky Fleck's PageMaps from her January 2008 maps. This is my first layout using a page map.

Merry Christmas to me!

My husband bought me a cricut die cut machine for Christmas. How did he ever know it was exactly what I wanted?? My mother and father in law bought me the tags bags boxes and more cartridge for Christmas. Yesterday I got three additional cartridges in the mail that I bought using Christmas money. I have one more coming through a promotion that is going on buy two and get one free!

Treats?? from Santa??

My kids both got a tootsie roll bank filled with tootsie rolls in their stockings. The day after Christmas my daughter bit into one of her tootsie rolls and pulled out 1/3rd of a tooth that had a filling. Thank goodness it was a baby tooth! The next day we went to the dentist and had the remaining 2/3rds removed. Thanks Santa!

My Music...

I thought I should mention that I was named after the first song on my playlist. "Dawn" by the Four Seasons. My sisters were both named after songs too! I added "Hotel California" to my playlist because I have a cassette that my brother and his friends made. Every time I hear that song I think of him. He lives in Florida and I am in Iowa. It will be thirteen years in January since I have seen him.

Scrapbook Overnight Weekend 2008

It is official I am attending my 4th annual Scrapbook overnight weekend. As of today I am paid in full!! Seven short weeks to go! It is the second Friday in February and 4 days after my 40th birthday. Enough on the birthday let's focus on the overnight! I will be bunking with Kristi and driving and bunking with Heather. Left to do oraganize and get pictures printed. Order scrapbook pages.

Altered Binder Clip

I made three of these last night for Christmas presents. One for my son's teacher and one for each of my coworkers. I bought the binder clips at Staples.
